I had a very fun but too short (I had to catch a mid day charter plane off the island) 1/2 day fishing charter with Capt. Robbie & first mate Henry. It was really windy and I only had a couple hours to work with so Robbie took me to one of his nearshore honey holes near Long Cay and I experienced a fine catch of nice size mangrove & mutton snappers. Robbie is definitely a class act and a great fishing guide with a very warm, friendly disposition and a super postive attitude. Thanks for the trip Robbie and I hope to get back down to Crooked Island someday again and next time I'll hope to do better at landing some of those BIG 'pinky' mutts with you on a longer trip or two for sure. Don't forget to tell my fellow Cuban refugee Wejebe about my wanting to look you you to fish like you guys did for his ESPN Spanish Fly show for the big shallow patch reef muttons w/ live pilchard chummin the next time you see him.

Hello my dear friend! Rick, the girls and I will be heading down your way April 30th. I want to make sure that I get scheduled with you for enough time to go off shore and catch a nice tuna (I'm dying to do that more than anything), and maybe pick up a conch or two and a few lobsters. You were so excellent last year helping my little Mackenzie get her lobsters. She will never forget that experinece. I hope that she gets braver this year and will learn to do it on her own. Can you check your calendar for Sunday - March 31st and let me know if you could take us out that day? I really look forward to seeing you and all of our great friends from CI. Found an article in the Southern Boating magazine about your Island. The four of us would like to come for a 3 week visit in February 2009. We are trying to gather current information about accomodations and flights.
